Fernanda is an illustrator from Brooklyn. She described her creative process as chasing an idea until you caught it. From this I thought of the running shot, which we shot from the back of Ben Wolf’s van and later we used the line as the basis of her script. I pulled the idea of the shot from the last scene of “Breathless”.
