Maybe the biggest commercial shoot of my career so far. It was a pleasure working with the creative team at Ogilvy NY. They know when to step in with creative suggestions and when to sit back and let the director they hired do what they hired him or her to do. This is the best spot we did for them and IBM. It’s exactly what we set out to do. No cuts, no effects, everything accomplished in one take and resembling a portrait…a moving portrait. This was also the most complex as we had to calculate the action based on reversed footage and having only 12 or 13 seconds since it was shot at double speed. It received massive broadcast play as did the others, playing on the Masters Golf Tournament, The College Final Four, and the NFL Draft.
