For almost two years, starting in 2004, we worked with Yahoo’s gifted designers and product/project managers, tried hard to slip by the VP’s (gatekeepers) and presented to the company’s founders, designs and strategies to rethink the Yahoo experience. The trick was to introduce a new, more interactive page that puts users at the center of the Web experience, while also considering the nearly 400 million plus visitors worldwide. The resulting front page provided a blend of news and entertainment, while offering users tools for searching, connecting, sharing, and communicating online.
We later led design initiatives that resulted in new ideas for MyYahoo! and were awarded a third project designing “Beyond the Browser” prototypes for the Yahoo! Consumer Group
